NASAM Receives Certificate of Appreciation from ERG Spacecraft Project Team

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, December 20, 2017 – NASAM Incorporated, an Aero Precision Holding company, announced today the receipt of a “Certificate of Appreciation” from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), concerning NASAM’s contribution to the development of the ERG Spacecraft in Japan.

“We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to NASAM, (who has) greatly contributed to the development of (the) ERG Spacecraft, arranging important electric parts and material, technical support of FPGAs and electric parts. We present this certificate in appreciation of NASAM’s dedication, commitment and friendship” said Iku Shinohara, Project Manager of the ERG Project Team.

“We are honored to contribute to the development of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s ERG Spacecraft and we’re eager to continue to support future requirements for JAXA.” said NASAM Vice President, Space Programs, Hiro Egawa.

ARASE (ERG: Exploration of energization and Radiation in Geospace) aims at elucidating how highly charged electrons are born and vanish repeatedly along with space storms caused by the disturbance of solar wind.
